Principal Message: Dear Parents, Guardians and Students: A lot has been happening here at BMRHS to keep our long and dreary winter months behind us. Our girls' and boys' basketball teams have made the districts and our cheerleading squad is steadily improving their performances week to week. Our jazz, woodwind, and brass performers are playing some fine music, keeping all of us in a good mood. Additionally, our School Committee has worked tirelessly to hire our new Superintendent. A copy of the press release is attached below! I know we are only in the 3rd quarter but we need to look ahead to next year and review our course selection process. Scheduled workshops and online resources will be available soon. Quarter 3 Progress Reports will be posted onto X2 on March 7th. We invite you to review your daughter/sons' Progress Report and contact teachers with questions and concerns. More importantly, the recent events in Florida have all hit us in various ways. I am sure that we have all experienced various levels of emotions these past weeks. This time has also allowed us to reflect on what we do as a community and share ideas of what we can do to improve. Administrators will gather with student leaders to discuss ways we can help give voice to those around us. I would also like to share a few things that I am sure some of you have questions with: *A school resource officer in on duty Monday through Friday, patrolling all schools in the district. *We are confident in our safety procedures and continue to refine our drills with emergency personnel. *Students and staff have been asked to play a major role in the security of our community. People are asked to say something if they see something. *Our counselors are available for support. We have partnered with Family Continuity, offering additional support services to students.
